Apple Cobbler 2 - Diabetic Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
FILLING 8 small Apples, peeled, cored & sliced Artificial sweetenre to = 3/4 cup sugar 2 tbsp Flour 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1 tsp Vanilla 1/2 tsp Salt 1/4 cup Water TOPPING 1/2 cup Flour Artifical sweetener to = 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp Baking powder 1/4 tsp Salt 2 tbsp Soft butter 1 Egg ** **PERSONAL NOTE from Ursula Taylor - to cut back on fat use egg substitute instead of the egg.
Recipe Instructions:
SOURCE: Sugar Free...That's me! by Judith S. Majors copyright 1978, ISBN #0-345-28708-8. Formatted into MM by Ursula R. Taylor. Mix filling ingredients in a 8 x 8 x 2 pan. In a small bowl then mix the topping ingredients. Drop in eight mounds atop the aple mixture. Bake at 375 for 35 - 40 minutes. Cut in 2 inch squares. Serve Warm. Serves 8. 1 Serving = 98 calories, 1 Fruit Exchange, 1/2 Bread Exchange and 1/2 Fat Exchange.
