Apple Pie No.1 Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 pastry shell, unbaked 20 oz can unsweetened sliced apple 1 1/2 tsp apple-pie spice 2 tbsp cornstarch 1 tbsp granulated sugar replacement 1 tsp apple flavoring (?) 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring 1 tsp powdered butter flavoring 1/2 cup corn flakes, finely crushed
Recipe Instructions:
Drain liquid from sliced apples into a measuring cup. Transfer drained apple slices to the pastry shell. Sprinkle with apple-pie spice. Add enough water to the sliced-apples liquid to make 1/4 cup of liquid. Stir in cornstarch until it is dissolved. Add sugar replacement, apple flavoring (?), and vanilla flavoring. Pour over apple slices in pastry shell. Sprinkle with powdered butter flavoring and crushed corn flakes. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
