Baked Ham Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

1 Ham
Dry mustard powder
Whole cloves

 

Recipe Instructions:

Precooked hams are widely available both in cans and in the meat display case of your local market.

Place the ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham and season with dry mustard powder and stud with whole cloves.

Heat precooked ham in a 325 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes per pound of ham. According to the National Live Stock and Meat Board, "fully cooked," or precooked, hams should reach a temperature of 140 degrees when they are heated for serving hot.

Trim ham of separable fat before serving.

Serve with "Mustard Sauce" or "Sweet And Sour Sauce" (see recipes). Add values of sauce to nutritive and exchange values below.
