Beef Stroganoff Ii Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
4 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp minced onion 2 lb lean sirloin steak, pounded, and cut into 1" cubes 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste 1 dash nutmeg 1 cup low-fat sour cream 9 oz uncooked noodles
Recipe Instructions:
In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil, add the onion and beef, and saute for 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms, pepper, and nutmeg.
Reduce the heat to low and add the sour cream, stirring constantly until well-blended.
Cook noodles in boiling water for 9 to 10 minutes. Drain. Place noodles on a serving dish and place beef mixture on top. Serve.
This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 3 ounces meat plus 1/2 cup noodles.
