Black And White Chili Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

1 lb chicken tenders, cut 3/4" pieces
1 cup coarsely-chopped onion
1 can Great Northern beans - (15 1/2 oz), drained
1 can black beans - (15 oz), drained
1 can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes - (14.5 oz), undrained
2 tbsp Texas-style chili powder seasoning mix

 

Recipe Instructions:

Spray large saucepan with nonstick cooking spray; heat over medium heat until hot. Add chicken and onion; cook and stir over medium to medium-high heat 5 to 8 minutes or until chicken is browned.

Stir remaining ingredients into saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

This recipe yields 6 (1-cup) servings.

Exchanges Per Serving: 1 1/2 Starch, 2 Meat.

Nutrition Facts: Calories 181; Calories from Fat 5%; Total Fat 1g; Protein 22g; Carbohydrates 29g; Cholesterol 32mg; Sodium 1014mg; Dietary Fiber 9g.
