Broiled Crab Cakes Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb crabmeat, backfin, cartilage and shells removed 2 tbsp reduced fat mayonnaise 2 tbsp dijon mustard 3 tbsp minced onion 1 egg 1/8 tsp hot red pepper sauce
Recipe Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and shape into 6 patties. Broil 6 inches from heat source, 3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Serve immediately. This recipe serves 6 people. Because this recipe is for a particular size pan, it adjusts the number of servings only in multiples of 6.
Per serving: calories 150, fat 3.9g, 24% calories from fat, cholesterol 110mg, protein 23.5g, carbohydrates 3.5g, fiber 0.2g, sodium 448mg.
Exchanges: 3 Very Lean Meat, 1/2 Fat.
The recommended wines are: Sauvignon Blanc, Fum Blanc, or White Zinfandel.
