Carambolas And Raspberries Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups fresh raspberries
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp drambuie, optional
1 tbsp finely diced crystallized ginger
2 medium carambolas, (star fruit), sliced into 1/2-inch slices

 

Recipe Instructions:

Mix together the raspberries, sugar, liqueur, and crystallized ginger. Let the mixture stand for 1/2 hour.

Place the raspberries in wide-mouthed wine glasses or dessert bowls. Top each serving with some slices of carambola and serve.

6 servings/Serving size: 1/2 cup
