Cherries Jubilee Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups cold skim milk
1/2 tsp almond extract, (optional), divided
1 package Jello vanilla flavor fat-free sugar-free
reduced-calorie instant pudding and pie
filling - (4 serv-size)
1 cup thawed Cool Whip lite whipped topping
2 tbsp toasted almonds, chopped, divided
1 can lite cherry pie filling - (20 oz)

 

Recipe Instructions:

Pour cold milk and 1/4 teaspoon of the extract into large bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes.

Stir in whipped topping and 1 tablespoon of the almonds. Mix cherry pie filling and remaining 1/4 teaspoon extract. Spoon pudding mixture and pie filling alternately into 8 dessert glasses.

Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with remaining almonds.

This recipe yields 8 servings. Serving size: 1/8 recipe.

Exchanges Per Serving: 1 1/2 Starch.
