Frozen Vanilla Yogurt - Diet Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 32 oz. Conta plain, Low-fat yogurt 10 packages Equal 1 tbsp Plus 2 tsp. vanilla extract **VARIATION** Fresh peaches, 1 cup pureed Plus 2 peaches peeled
Recipe Instructions:
This came from an EQUAL COOKBOOK - MM format by Ursula R. Taylor.
Combine yogurt and equal; stir well. Stir vanilla into yogurt. Pour mixture into freezer can of a hand-turned or electric freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
YIELD: 1 quart
VARIATION: To prepare peach yogurt, prepare as above, decreasing vanilla extract to 1 1/2 tsp. Add 1 cup pureed peaches to yogurt mixture before addint to freezer can. When yogurt is partially frozen, blend in 2 peeled peaches which have been finely chopped. Continue to freeze.
