Grilled Burgers Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

3/4 lb ground sirloin
3/4 lb lean ground turkey
2 tbsp low-fat sour cream
1 tsp crushed dried oregano
2 scallions, white part and 1" green, chopped
6 sesame hamburger buns, split, toasted

 

Recipe Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine ground sirloin, ground turkey, sour cream, oregano, and scallion. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Light the grill or preheat the broiler. Shape the beef mixture into 8 1-inch thick patties. Grill or broil 4 inches from the source of heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Exchanges Per Serving: 3 Lean Protein, 1 1/2 Carbohydrate (Bread/Starch).

Nutrition Facts: 289 calories (26% calories from fat), 29 g protein, 8 g total fat (3.0 g saturated fat), 23 g carbohydrates, 1 g dietary fiber, 61 mg cholesterol, 312 mg sodium.
