Harlequin Dip Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

8 oz plain low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup prepared chili sauce
1 tbsp prepared horseradish, drained
1 tsp grated lemon rind
2 tbsp finely-chopped celery
1 tbsp finely-chopped green pepper
1 tbsp finely-chopped green onion
1/2 tsp salt

 

Recipe Instructions:

Combine all ingredients well. Chill in a covered container at least 2 hours before serving.

Zesty dip for chunks of cooked meat, fish, or raw vegetables.

This recipe yields 1 1/4 cups. Serving size: 2 tablespoons.

Exchanges Per Serving: Up to 2 tablespoons may be considered Free Food.

Nutrition Facts: Carbohydrates 3g; Protein 1g; Fat 0g; Calories 22; Fiber 0g; Sodium 212mg; Cholesterol 1mg.

Note: Low-sodium diets: Omit salt. Substitute dietetic, low-sodium catsup for chili sauce.
