**INGREDIENTS** 1.00 lb Ground turkey 1.00 tb Bread crumbs 1.00 ts Prepared mustard 0.25 ts Garlic powder 0.25 ts Onion powder 0.13 ts Salt 0.13 ts Black Pepper **SAUCE** 1.00 cn 16 oz. mixed fruits packed -in light syrup or pineapple -chunks in own juice, -drained and reserved 1.00 tb Vinegar 2.00 ts Soy sauce 1.00 ts Cornstarch 1.00 tb Water 1.00 sm Green pepper, cut into -chunks and blanched
Recipe Instructions:

Mix turkey with bread crumbs and seasonings. Shape into 4 patties. 3. Broil for 3 to 4 minutes per side. 4. In 2-quart saucepan, combine reserved juice, vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch mixed with water. 5. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, whisking until thickened. 6. Stir in green pepper and fruit. 7. Pour over "burgers". Method-Microwave - sauce only 1. In 2-quart microwave-safe saucepan, combine juice, vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch mixed with water. Cook, for 3 - 5 minutes on mediym-high power; stir once. 2. Stir in green pepper and fruit. 3. Pour over "burgers". YIELD: 4 servings SERVING SIZE: 1 patty plus sauce EXCHANGES per serving: Meat, medium-fat 2 1/2, Fruit 1. NUTRIENT CONTENT per serving: CAL 227, FAT 12 gm, Na 763 mg, Fiber 2 gm, PRO 16 gm, CHO 17 gm, K 387 mg, Chol 47 mg. **400 milligrams or more of sodium per serving.
