Hero Wraps Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

6 98% fat-free tortillas - (6 1/2" dia)
Prepared hot mustard, as needed
6 lettuce leaves
6 turkey slices - (1 oz ea)
6 slices low-fat low-salt ham - (1 oz ea)
6 slices low-fat low-salt Swiss-style cheese, (1 oz ea)
2 tomatoes - (abt 1 lb total), seeded, diced
1 1/2 cups alfalfa sprouts

 

Recipe Instructions:

Place the tortillas on a work surface, spread with mustard. Place the turkey, ham, and cheese on top along with tomatoes and alfalfa sprouts. Bring the sides of the wrap in and then roll up to from an envelope. Wrap each in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Slice the wraps in half and stand on their ends to serve.

This recipe yields 6 servings.

Exchanges Per Serving: 2 Very Lean Protein, 1 1/2 Carbohydrate (Bread/Starch).

Nutrition Facts: 212 calories (16% calories from fat), 20 g protein, 4 g total fat (1.7 g saturated fat), 25 g carbohydrates, 2 g dietary fiber, 29 mg cholesterol, 828 mg sodium*.
