Homemade Mincemeat 3 Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2 lb Apples, cored and chopped
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1/2 lb Ground beef
1 cup Raisins or currants
1/2 cup Chopped citron
1/2 cup Chopped orange peel
1/2 cup Chopped lemon peel
1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp Ground allspice
1/4 tsp Ground mace OR nutmeg
2 tbsp Brandy OR 2 tsp. brandy extact

 

Recipe Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and
simmer for 2 hours, stirring frequently. Let cool and
use for mincemeat pie, cookies, or cake, or freeze
until needed.
