Hot German Chicken Salad Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cup Celery, chopped 1/2 cup Almonds. taosted, slivered 1 can Pimentos, 2oz, drained 1 Bell pepper, chopped 3 Chicken breasts, cooked and diced 1/2 cup Mayonaise 1 tsp German or other prepared mustard 1/4 cup Scallion, chopped 1/2 tsp Salt
Recipe Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400^F. Mix the celery, almonds, pimento, green pepper and chicken together. Transfer to an oiled 2 qt casserole dish. Combine the mayonaise, mustard, scallion, and salt in a mixing bowl and blend. Spread over top of the chicken mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes, until the topping is nicely browned.
