Italian Grilled Tuna Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb tuna steaks 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup diced roasted red peppers 1/2 cup sliced scallions 2 tbsp minced fresh oregano 2 tbsp minced fresh Italian parsley 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp olive oil Salt, to taste Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
Recipe Instructions:
Combine the tuna steaks and lemon juice and marinate for 15 minutes. Prepare an outside grill with an oiled rack set 6 inches above the heat source. On a gas grill, set the heat to medium.
Grill or broil the tuna 6 inches from the heat source for 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour the sauce over the tuna steaks to serve.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 3 to 4 oonces.
