Jeanette's Custard Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2 eggs
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 2/3 cups fat-free (skim) milk
1/2 tsp nutmeg

 

Recipe Instructions:

Heat the oven to 325 degrees.

Combine the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and milk in a medium bowl. Beat well and pour into individual custard cups or a baking dish.

Sprinkle nutmeg over the mixture and bake for 35 minutes. The custard is done when a knife inserted in the center of the custard comes out clean.

This recipe yields 4 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
