Lime And Mint Granita Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2 cups water
1 tbsp fresh mint leaves
1/3 cup sugar
3 limes, juiced

 

Recipe Instructions:

Bring the water to a simmer and add the mint leaves. Let the mint leaves simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Strain the liquid onto the sugar. Mix well. Add the lime juice and allow the mixture to cool.

Place the mixture into the freezer. Check the mixture every hour and stir it to combine the frozen and unfrozen ingredients. The end product will be a soft frozen ice and will take 5 to 7 hours.

This recipe yields 4 servings. Serving size: about 1/2 cup.
