Muffaletta Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

8 oz Butterball Honey Roasted and
Smoked Turkey Breast, deli sliced thin
8 oz Butterball Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, deli sliced thin
1 1/2 cups prepared fat-free Italian salad dressing
1/3 cup salad olives
1 large loaf crusty round Italian bread
1/2 lb sliced Swiss cheese
1/2 lb sliced provolone cheese
Leaf lettuce, as needed
2 large tomatoes, sliced
1 red onion, sliced thin

 

Recipe Instructions:

Combine salad dressing and olives in small bowl. Slice bread in half crosswise. Spoon 1/2 cup dressing on bottom half of bread. Layer turkey, cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes and onion onto bread. Pour remaining dressing on top half of bread; place on top. Cut into 16 pieces to serve.

This recipe yields 16 servings.

Exchanges Per Serving: 1 Starch, 2 Meat, 1 Fat.
