Mushroon Sauce Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup Mushrooms, (stem/pieces) 1 cup Beef broth pinch Pepper 2 tsp All purpose flour 1 tsp Cornstarch 2 tbsp Water Vegetable Oil or butter
Recipe Instructions:
Coat a frypan lightly with oil or butter. Add mushrooms; stir-cook 2-3 minutes until mushrooms look a bit dry. Add broth and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir flour and cornstarch into water to form a smooth paste or shake together in a small screw-top jar. Add to mushroom mixture and stir-cook about 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
Makes 1 cup sauce 1 Serving = 1/4 cup : 1 extra choice : 3 g carbohydrate : 2 g protein : 90 kilojoules : 20 calories
