Oven Fried Chicken No.1 - Good Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2.00 Chicken breast halves
6.00 Saltine crackers, crushed
2.00 ts Parmesean cheese
0.25 ts Pepper
0.13 ts Basil
0.13 ts Celery seed
0.13 ts Onion powder
0.13 ts Oregano
0.13 ts Paprika
0.13 ts Salt (optional)
1.50 tb Evaporated skim milk
1.00 ts Vegetable oil

 

Recipe Instructions:

Skin chicken breasts. Combine cracker crumbs,
cheese, pepper, basil celery seed, onion powder,
oregano, paprika and salt in bowl.
Dip chicken in evaporated skim milk and then coat
with crumb mixture. Place in a lightly greased shallow
roasting pan - or spray with PAM.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
Brush with oil and bake 10 minutes longer. Makes 2
servings. Each serving counts as 3 lean meat, 1/2
starch, and 1/2 fat. Each serving has 260 calories.
NOTE: If you don't like spices used - basil, celery
seed, onion powder, oregano, paprika and salt and
pepper - use your own blend. This was gotten from
Riverside Hospital dieticians.
