Peach Walnut Spice Cake *G* Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup Butter 1/2 cup Brown Sugar, packed 1/3 cup Molasses 2 1/2 cup Flour 3/4 tsp Baking Soda 1/2 tsp Nutmeg 1/2 cup Sugar 4 Eggs 2 Fresh Peaches 1/2 tsp Salt 2 tsp Cinnamon 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
Recipe Instructions:
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, then add molasses; beating thoroughly. Peel and chop peaches and stir into mixture. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into creamed mixture until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until pick inserted into center comes out dry. Cut into squares and top with whipped cream and peach slices if desired. Makes 1 cake
