Pesto Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
2/3 cup fresh basil leaves - (tightly packed) 3 scallions, including 2" green, chopped 1 garlic clove, minced 1 tsp dry-roasted sunflower seeds Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste 3 tsp low-sodium fat-free chicken broth - (to 4) 1/2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe Instructions:
Place first 5 ingredients in a blender or food processor. Pulse on and off until finely minced.
Add the stock to thin the mixture. Stir in cheese.
This recipe yields 1/2 cup.
Exchanges Per 1-teaspoon Serving: Free Food.
