Red Rice Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups water 1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube 1 medium onion, chopped 1 cup uncooked rice 2 garlic cloves, minced 1/2 can tomato sauce - (8-oz can) 1 green bell pepper, seeded, chopped
Recipe Instructions:
Boil the water in a large saucepan. Add the bouillon cube and stir.
Add the remaining ingredients, stir well, and return to a boil. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook, covered, for 20 minutes.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
Exchanges Per Serving: 2 Starch.
