Russian Pork Chops Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

Nonstick Vegetable Spray
0.25 lb Potatoes, peeled & sliced
2.00 Center-cut pork chops, well
-trimmed
0.13 ts Salt
0.13 ts Garlic powder
0.13 ts Onion powder
0.13 ts Black pepper
1.50 tb Water
2.00 oz (1/2 cup) mushrooms, sliced
0.25 c Reduced-calorie sour cream

1.50 TS FRESH PARSLEY OR

1/2 ts dried parsley
**To make 4 servings, double
-the recipe.

 

Recipe Instructions:

1987 1. Heat skillet over medium heat. Spray with
nonstick vegetable spray. Add potatoes; brown lightly
and set aside. 2. Season pork chops with salt, garlic
powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Respray
skillet. Cook chops for 1 minute on each side; drain
fat. 3. Add water, cover, and cook for 10 minutes. Add
sliced potatoes and mushrooms; cook for 10 minutes
more. Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly, but do not
boil. Sprinkle with parsley. YIELD: 2 servings
SERVING SIZE: 1 chop EXCHANGES: Starch/bread 1, Meat,
lean 4, Fat 1/2. NUTRIENT CONTENT per serving: CAL
330, FAT 17 gm, Na 253 mg, Fiber 1 gm, PRO 31 gm, CHO
14 gm, K 594 mg, Chol 92 mg.
