Sauteed Mushrooms Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
4 tbsp Margarine 1/2 lb Mushrooms, fresh 1/4 cup Onions, sliced Salt to taste Freshly ground pepper 1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped 2 tbsp Lemon juice, or more is desired
Recipe Instructions:
Slice mushrooms, (remove and discard stems if shitakes). Heat margarine in medium to large frying pan. Add mushrooms to margarine. Saute over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until they begin to soften. Add onions are limp and begin to clear---about another 3 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice, salt and bit of ground pepper. Taste for seasonings, and add more additional lemon juice, if you wish. Top with parsley. Serve immediatey, or freeze for later use.
