Spaghetti Sauce Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 tsp Vegetable oil 2 cl Garlic, chopped 1 medium Onion, chopped 1 can Tomatoes, mashed or pureed 1 cup Water or beef broth 1/4 cup Tomato paste 1 tbsp Dried parsley 1 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Oregano 1/2 tsp Basil 1/2 tsp Thyme 1/4 tsp Ground cloves 1/4 tsp Pepper
Recipe Instructions:
Heat oil in a heavy saucepan. Saute garlic and onion for three minutes or until limp. Stir in tomatoes, water and tomato paste. Add parsley, salt, oregano, thyme, basil, cloves and pepper; stir well. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for one hour, until sauce is reduced by 1/4.
