Speedy Fruit Compote Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1/4 pear, peeled, chopped 1/4 orange, peeled, chopped 1/4 apple, peeled, chopped 1 tbsp dehydrated cranberries 1 tbsp unsweetened orange juice
Recipe Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a small microwave-safe bowl. (You may substitute raisins, dried apricots, or dried pineapples for the cranberries.) Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
For extra flavor, sprinkle with cinnamon or 2 tablespoons crushed, whole-grain cereal.
This recipe yields 1 serving.
