Spiced Apple Rings Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

6 medium Apples, firm
Sugar substitute to equal
1 1/2 cup Sugar
2 Sticks cinnamon
3 Whole cloves
1 1/2 cup Cranberry juice, unsweetened
1/4 cup Lemon juice

 

Recipe Instructions:

Wash and core apples; slice unpeeled into thick
slices. Place in flat pan. Combine remaining
ingredients, and boil 5 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup juice
mixture, and set aside. Pour remaining juice mixture
over apple slices. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
or until apples slices appear transparent; baste
occasionally with the 1/4 cup juice mixture. Serve Hot
or Cold as a garnish for your Salad. Or by itself:
Yield: 12 - 1/2 cup serving. Each serving may be
exchanged for: 1 Fruit.
