Spicy Hummus Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
5 oz canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed (reserve 1 tsp. liquid) 1 tsp sesame tahini 1 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp olive oil 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp coriander 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper white pepper 3/4 tsp parsley, minced
Recipe Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Use 1 tsp. bean juice to moisten, if necessary. Process until smooth.
Per serving: calories 70, fat 1.9g, 24% calories from fat, cholesterol 0mg, protein 3.5g, carbohydrates 10.4g, fiber 2.6g, sodium 3mg.
Exchanges: 1/2 Starch.
