Strawberries And Almonds Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries 1/2 tsp almond extract 2 tsp sugar 2 tsp lemon juice 1 cup low-calorie whipped topping 1/4 cup toasted almond slivers
Recipe Instructions:
Combine the berries, extract, sugar, and lemon juice in a medium bowl. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 20 minutes. This is so the berries will absorb more juice and become quite flavorful.
In parfait glasses, layer the whipped topping and strawberries. Top each serving with almonds.
This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1/2 cup.
