Terrye Newkirk: Egg Foo Young Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:


EGG FOO YOUNG

2 Eggs, beaten
(egg beaters will work)
Fresh ginger, grated
1 cup To 2 c vegetables, chopped such as celery, water chestnuts, mung beans sprouts, green onions, bamboo shoots, carrot, or vegetable to your liking

SAUCE

1 cup Water
1 tsp Cornstarch
2 tbsp Tamari
dash Cayenne,
dash Toasted sesame oil

 

Recipe Instructions:

Fry in a small amount of oil on a hot griddle, turning once. Serve with
sauce. Serve with rice.
