Turkey Chili With Black Beans Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey breast 1 can fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth, (14 1/2 oz) 1 large onion, finely chopped 1 green bell pepper, seeded, diced 2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp ground allspice 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp paprika 1 can black beans - (15 oz), rinsed, drained 1 can crushed tomatoes in tomato purée - (14 oz), undrained 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Recipe Instructions:
Heat large nonstick skillet over high heat. Add turkey, chicken broth, onion and bell pepper. Cook and stir, breaking up turkey. Cook until turkey is no longer pink.
Add chili powder, allspice, cinnamon and paprika. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 minutes. Add black beans, tomatoes and vinegar; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until thickened to desired consistency. Garnish as desired.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
