Waffle Stack Recipe


Recipe Ingredients:

2 toaster waffles, toasted
1/2 cup Breakstone's or Knudsen lowfat
cottage cheese 2% milkfat
10 strawberry slices
2 kiwi slices
1/4 cup raspberries and blueberries

 

Recipe Instructions:

Spread waffles with cottage cheese. Stack waffles. Top with fruit. Serve with maple syrup, if desired.

This recipe yields 1 serving. Serving size: Entire recipe.

Exchanges Per Serving: 2 Starch, 1/2 Fruit, 2 Meat.

Comments: Everyone in the family will enjoy these scrumptious waffles. They're an excellent source of calcium and vitamins A & C.

Great Substitute: Substitute 2 microwave pancakes, heated, for waffles.
