West Indies Dip Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup Whipped Cottage Cheese, plus 2 tbsp Whipped Cottage Cheese, (see recipe) 1 tbsp chopped onion 3 tbsp prepared chutney 1 tsp curry powder 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
Recipe Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and cover tightly. Blend at low speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Chill at least 2 hours before serving.
This recipe yields 1 1/4 cups. Serving size: 2 tablespoons.
Exchanges Per Serving: 1/2 Lean Meat.
Nutrition Facts: Carbohydrates 2g; Protein 4g; Fat 1g; Calories 38; Fiber 0g; Sodium 212mg; Cholesterol 3mg.
Note: Low-sodium diets: Prepare useing apple chutney instead of English chutney, such as Major Grey's.
