White Bean Pate Recipe
Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup minced scallions 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 can white beans - (15 oz) = (navy or cannelini) 2 tsp prepared Dijon mustard 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 tsp olive oil 2 tbsp minced parsley 1 tbsp minced basil 1 tsp minced thyme leaves 1 tsp minced dill 1 tsp minced tarragon 1/4 tsp nutmeg Salt, to taste Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
Recipe Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth. Serve with crackers or pita bread.
This recipe yields 12 servings. Serving size: 2 tablespoons.
Exchanges Per Serving: 1/2 Starch.
